THE CRYSTAL CARD PROJECT STORY

THE ORGANIZATION

The Crystal Card Project is a grass roots organization launched in March of 2016.  Its founders are women who have been recipients of the “Crystal Award” for outstanding volunteer service in the community of Sun Lakes, AZ.

Its purpose is to recycle greeting cards to raise money for charity.  The charity chosen to receive funds is My Sister’s Place, a Chandler-based support program for victims of domestic violence.

The goal of the project is to raise a minimum of $5,000 each year to donate.  The money is raised through the sale of greeting cards that have been remade by project volunteers from parts of used cards that would have otherwise been discarded.
